The Government of Niue has advised us that it has made a policy decision to cease operations of the IBC Registry by the end of the year 2006, when all IBCs must be continued (re-domiciled) to other jurisdictions, become a domestic Niue company or will cease to exist. The enactment of new legislation eliminating the possibility to incorporate new IBCs in Niue can be expected for April 2006; however, the rights and legal capacity of the companies will remain unchanged until the end of operations on 31 December 2006 .
We recommend you continue (re-domicile) Niue IBCs to other jurisdictions. If your clients wish to keep their interests within a company of a jurisdiction in the South Pacific region, we suggest you consider Samoa, where we also have offices. It has a stable environment, good infrastructure and communications. Samoa offers the unique advantage of guaranteeing an annual license fee of only US$100.00 for the lifetime of re-domiciled companies. For additional information about Samoa companies please click here http://www.mossfon.com/samoa.html
You may wish to consider companies from one of our other jurisdictions for your future incorporation needs, such as: Panama, British Virgin Islands, Seychelles, Bahamas, Samoa, Nevada, Hong Kong and Uruguay.
Rest assured that we will keep you informed about any new development and provide you and your clients with continued support.
